Friday:  Expository One Pager due today.  The assignment requirements can be found on Google Classroom.  Gallery Walks today!

ATTENTION!!!!      All students will be required to read  and take quizzes over 6 Mark Twain, Truman OR Gateway nominees. These are due March 4, 2019!

Students will be required to do a Book Talk every quarter.  There are sign up sheets in the classroom.  These are due Thursday, December 13th.

Monday 11/12-Wednesday 11/14-Students will be working on their first expository essay in ELA class about summer. They should have their graphic organizers in class each day to help them plan their introductory paragraph (which includes their lead and thesis statement) and their 3 main idea paragraphs.  Quizlet terms will be reviewed 10 minutes daily in class as well.

Homework: Expository essay due Weds (minus the conclusion).  Study Quizlet terms daily!

Students should be reading 15 minutes a night to reach their goal of 3,000 minutes this school year.
