Monday 8/12: Intro to Google Classroom, FHMS website; chrome book assignment, file folder labeling.

Tuesday 8/13: Review of chrome book procedures, Intro to STEMscopes. Homework: Student information/classroom expectations handout must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to school by Friday 8/16.

Wednesday 8/14: Begin Scope 1 (Cells)- Anchoring Phenomena, Essential Question, Mission Log and Guiding Questions.

Thursday 8/15: Investigative Phenomena, Access Prior Knowledge, Graphic Organizer and vocab discussion.

Friday 8/16: Student information sheets are due back today! Hook, Explore 1.

Monday 8/19: PowerPoint and notes about the parts and function of a microscope.  Label and color code a microscope. 

Tuesday 8/20: Practice labeling the parts and functions of a microscope to review before using a microscope tomorrow. Watch the a video about the different types of microscopes. 

Wednesday 8/21: Review safety and rules for handling microscopes.  Practice lab using microscopes. 

Thursday 8/22: Review parts, functions, and handling of microscopes. Continue the practice lab. 

Friday 8/23: Quiz over parts and functions of a microscope. 
Math connections (this will be homework if it's not completed in class).
