Life Science Agenda

Dear parent(s)/guardian(s),

Please be advised that any missing work from the first half of the fourth quarter must be turned in by Friday 4/17 for late credit. Any missing work after that date will remain a zero in the grade book.

Also, please remind your student that it is their responsibility to check for and make-up any missed work when absent from class.

Thank you for your support!

Mrs. Lewellen and Mrs. Meise

Lewellen/Meise- April 3 - April 17, 2020:

We are starting a research project on invasive species. Each of you will receive an email from us today assigning you a particular invasive species. The project is assigned through google classroom and is due Thursday April 17. Your goal is to spend no more than 30 minutes per school day working on science. So, for this week, you will work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday since Tuesday is a teacher work day and Friday there is no school. The instructions are explained in the assignment.

Note- This is a change of format from our original plan to give assignments only on Tuesday and Thursday. Make sure you check google classroom every day! Even though we are not in the building, school is still in session and we will be able to monitor how much work you are getting done every day.

Additionally, we are going to have Zoom office hours as follows:
Mrs. Meise Tuesdays 10 - 11 am
Mrs. Lewellen Thursdays 1 - 2 pm.
These are for questions only! This is not a forum for you to socialize with friends. Both our classes and Mrs. Lewellen's classes are doing the same project, so if you can not attend my office hours, Mrs. Lewellen will still be able to answer your questions. The link will be on google classroom about 5 minutes before the office hours begin.

Here is a link to play science hangman (this is just for fun):
