Dr. James
FHMS Building Assistant Principal
7th Grade Principal
I am extremely excited and honored to serve as the 8th grade assistant principal this year at Francis Howell Middle School. I grew up in the Francis Howell School District and attended Castlio Elementary, Hollenbeck Middle School, and graduated from Francis Howell High School. I am very proud to be a VIKING alum!
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from University of Central Missouri, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Administration.
I am beginning my 12th year in the Francis Howell School District and my 3rd year at Francis Howell Middle School. Prior to this position, I was an assistant principal at Daniel Boone Elementary and I have taught at both the elementary (Independence Elementary) and middle school levels (Hollenbeck Middle School) teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Communication Arts.
When I am not working, I love to travel and spend time with my husband and three daughters, who keep us very busy! We have twin three year olds and a one year old who keep us very busy and entertained!
Parent involvement is extremely important to me. I greatly appreciate the support of our parents and school community. There are many ways to become involved and volunteer your time. Your children need your involvement now more than ever! My door is always open, so please stop by or give me a call if you would like to become more involved. Here’s to another great year at Francis Howell Middle School!
